I graduated from the University of Pécs Medical School in 1985, and began working at the Pécs Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. I obtained my specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989. In 1991, I joined the clinic’s In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) working group, which I led from 1997 to 2010. This period marked the introduction of micromanipulation techniques (ICSI, assisted hatching) as well as the freezing and storage of embryos. Since 2010, I have been working in Kaposvár as the head of the reproductive center, initially at the Kaáli Institute’s Kaposvár branch (2010-2017), followed by the KMOK Dr. Domány Sándor Human Reproduction Center (2018-2023). Since 2023, I have been the medical director of the DREK Kaposvár branch.
